Rip Training: Hurricane Workout Part 3

We’re back with another burner from TRX Master Trainer Casey Stutzman to work your core, obliques, shoulders and legs, as well as give you an intense cardio conditioning challenge. Over the past few weeks, Stutzman has been introducing his new brand of high-intensity interval training, titled “hurricane sets.” These are tasty little two-minute bursts of four exercises performed for 30 seconds back-to-back, with no rest. Typically, Stutzman couples movements that focus on strength and balance with movements with that have high cardiovascular demand.

This week’s set is as follows:

  • Rip Windmill (Left)
  • Rip Hockey Slapshot with Lateral Leap (Left)
  • Rip Windmill (Right)
  • Rip Hockey Slapshot with Lateral Leap (Right)

Try linking Part 1 and Part 2 together with this set for three rounds of each hurricane set with one minute rest between each round, for a total of nine rounds, for one intense Rip Training workout!
